St. Tropez was setting for some of the most memorable Summer
moments during the 60s and 70s. Some of these have been featured
within the blog; Mick & Bianca Jagger’s wedding, Brigitte
Bardot with Gunter Sachs, the party nights commanded by Gigi Rizzi,
and the filming of the memorable Delon/Schneider/Birkin/Ronet film
“La Piscine”.

On August 1968, Brigitte Bardot and Alain Delon were invited by
French yachtsman, Eric Tabarly, to sail some hours around the
Mediterranean on his boat. For the occasion both French cinema
icons opted for black ensembles, yet they added a touch of color by
wearing bright floral patterns. Delon wore a floral print bathing
suit, while Bardot chose a floral sarong.

After enjoying the coast of St. Tropez, Alain Delon & Brigitte
Bardot had lunch with famed French music producer, Eddie
Barclay.
