May 1st, 2011 Movies admin I do. I mean, I remember Brigitte Bardot as a movie star, not in her present work. I loved watching her on the screen when I was younger. She was one of the great sex symbols of movie stardom s past, and she made a big impression on me when I was a teenager. She looked like she was fun, too, though which also made a difference. I mean, it used to be that you had the fun stars pretty, but not too pretty, and not too glamorous. The girls next door and all that. And then you had the sex symbol stars glamorous, someone you d never meet in your lifetime, and would certainly never be, and all that. Well, from my memory, Bardot was both of these. Fun and glamorous, sexy and down to earth. I might be remembering wrong, it s been a long time since I ve watched those films but that is the impression that has stayed with me through the years.
