A good post:
Thylane Lena-Rose Blondeau
for French Vogue Where do we draw the line between fashion photography and child sexualisation? How young is too young? Since appearing on Good Morning America late last week controversy has erupted over the January images of ten year old Thylane Lena-Rose Blondeau posing provocatively for French Vogue . The editorial spread entitled Cadeaux was shot by Sharif Hamza and took the concept of little girls playing dress up to an entirely new level. Decked out in couture pieces from Prada, Celine and Gucci, these tiny tots appear mature beyond their years. No stranger to modelling, Thylane Lena-Rose Blondeau walked the catwalk for Jean Paul Gaultier at the age of four, as well as prior involvement in a number of other magazine spreads. Her piercing blue eyes, gorgeous olive skin, waist length hair, and pouting Jolie like lips have drawn comparisons to supermodel Brigitte Bardot who modelled for Elle magazine at just 15.
Daughter of actress and television presenter Veronika Loubry and former soccer player Patrick Blondeau, this ten year old fore into the fashion world follows the emerging trend for younger models, child actresses Elle Fanning, 13, and Hailee Steinfeld, 14, both having recently signed modelling deals with Marc Jacobs and Miu Miu. No doubt the next big thing, surely a few years preserving that childhood innocence couldnt hurt?
