Gunter Sachs: He flirted with ex-Empress Soraya and married Brigitte Bardot. He had affairs with the most beautiful women in the world and embodied like no other birds of paradise, who took refuge from the stuffiness of the postwar years.

The legacy of “F & S” had what millions of people dream. Gunter Sachs was attractive, had money, houses around the world, fast cars and a spectacular art collection. He loved the intense life, the risk and women.

In life, Gunter Sachs was for the Germans “our man in the Jet Set”. He significantly shaped the social life in St. Moritz St. Tropez to the stage and makes the rich and famous. His name still stands for sophistication, style and the art of staging. Andy Warhol established his kitchen, his friends include people like Fiat boss Gianni Agnelli and director Roman Polanski.

The public admired, envied and criticized Gunter Sachs for its spectacular lifestyle – and the media reduced the complex man to his image as a playboy. But there is also the unknown sides and stories of Gunter Sachs: The flight from Nazi Germany to Switzerland, the loss of his first wife, Anne-Marie, or fight for a cancer-stricken friend, his sense of family and loyal friendship and his talent As an art collector and entrepreneur.
