A good article:
If you saw my recent Westfields haul, you’ll know that I picked up a couple of bits from MAC’s Glitter and Ice collection and I said I’d review them as I love them both so much! Before we start can I just say, how lovely is the white packaging?!
This sold the collection to me before I even looked at the colours! It’s so simple, but I love it! First up, Double Spin, which is a cremesheen lipstick, it’s a very light cool toned pink, not really one for the faint hearted! As you can see, it is a very light, almost silvery pink, it looks great with my skin right now as I’m very pale this time of year so I LOVE it right now, though it wouldn’t be a summery shade for me at all but I absolutely adore it for this time of year.
I feel like it has an almost sixties feel to it, I love to wear it with simple light pink eyeshadow, with a lot of inner corner highlight and lots of black eyeliner and mascara, very Bridgitte Bardot! This is Let’s Skate! It’s an absolutely gorgeous light pink Paint Pot with pearl. When looking at the collection, this stood out to me the most. top – thick layer bottom – blended out As (I hope) you can see from the swatches, there is a LOT of shimmer in this paint pot, it makes a beautiful base for eyeshadows and really adds something special to them, but I also love just wearing it on it’s own with black liquid liner for a really bright eyed look! It makes a fantastic all over lid colour and base AND a brilliant inner corner highlight – in LOVE with this! What do you think? Will you be trying any of MAC’s Glitter and Ice collection?
